Replace a Tenancy Agreement

Replace a Tenancy Agreement

When onboarding a new tenancy in COHO, it's important to ensure that the tenancy agreement reflects the intended terms.

The tenancy agreement is not signed yet

There is an onboarding for it

1. Find the Onboarding: Log into your COHO account and navigate to the onboarding panel and find the specific onboarding
2. Expand the Tenancy Agreement Step
3. Click on "Replace Agreement" and go through the tenancy agreement creation form once again

There is No Onboarding

Using the search, search for the tenant to get to their tenancy page. Then, scroll down to the tenancy agreement panel. There, you will see the same “Replace agreement” button as above.

The tenancy agreement is signed

On the onboarding view, it will not be replaceable anymore.
On the tenancy agreement panel of the tenancy page, you will have a button at the bottom of the panel “New tenancy agreement” to add a new one.

Consequences

Updating the tenancy agreement will invalidate the previous one, and a new agreement will be issued for signing. All parties involved will need to sign the new agreement to finalise the update.
Additionally, the onboarding step for Tenancy Agreement will go back to “In progress” if it was passed to “Complete”.
